I bought a Kapten & Son backpack a few months ago, and I’ve been using it almost every single day since then. Mostly it comes with me to work, but I’ve also taken it on short trips, tossed it into the car when I’m in a hurry, carried it around in the rain, and definitely overpacked it more than once when I thought “just one more thing” would still fit.

Even with all that, it still looks really good and has held up better than I expected. I haven’t noticed any loose stitching, the zips still work normally, and the material is easy to wipe clean if it gets a bit dirty, which is handy because I’m not exactly careful with it. Overall, I’m happy with it and it feels like one of those bags that can handle regular everyday use without starting to look worn out too quickly.

I contacted Kapten & Son about an issue with my order, and it took way too long to get an actual answer from someone. I had to keep following up myself, which got annoying after a while.

The replies I received felt copy-pasted and didn’t really address what I was asking. It was especially frustrating because they kept pointing back to their policies, but it felt like there were loopholes that worked in their favor and left me with no clear solution.

In the end, I was basically left stuck with the problem and no real help. Not a great customer service experience for me, and it definitely made the whole thing feel more stressful than it needed to be.

The bag feels sturdy and it looks nice too. For the price I paid, I feel like it was a good buy. I mean, considering how some bags in this range are...

I ended up returning my bag because it just wasn’t quite what I had in mind. From my side, the return process did work out in the end, so I can’t really complain too much. That said, I found the replies a little slow, and I was kind of waiting around for the refund longer than I expected. It wasn’t a terrible experience, just a bit frustrating for me...

really happy with this bag, the pockets are actually useful and everything kinda has a spot. Fits my laptop, charger, water bottle and all the little stuff I usually carry around, no problem. Looks clean too, and doesn’t feel bulky which I really like

It looks good overall, like the style is nice and all, but it’s kinda plain. Nothing really stood out to me, though it’s still decent.

I really wanted to like these because they look nice, but the straps rubbed my feet badly and felt too tight the whole day. it seems like a preventable issue if the strap design had just been a little softer or more adjustable.

The bag looks good and feels decent overall, like it’s not cheap-looking or anything. But after a few weeks the zipper started getting stiff and kind of annoying to use. It still works, so it’s not a total problem, just feels like for the price it should’ve held up a little better.

My order showed up quicker than I thought it would, which was a nice surprise. Everything went smoothly and I didn’t run into any issues.

Placing the order was simple and straightforward. I did find myself wanting a bit more reassurance along the way, like clearer updates or confirmation, but overall it was an easy experience.
